Robot Bear to the Rescue!
The US military is developing a robot with a teddy bear-style head to help carry injured soldiers away from the battlefield.
The Battlefield Extraction Assist Robot (BEAR) can scoop up even the heaviest of casualties and transport them over long distances over rough terrain.
New Scientist magazine reports that the "friendly appearance" of the robot is designed to put the wounded at ease.
It is expected to be ready for testing within five years.

Dan versus Disney
The covers so far for the Wonderland series. I'd been wondering what the next few might look like, but now there's a good chance it won't ever get to that.
Ah well, fingers crossed. It's been fun working with Tommy and the rest of the gang, but i guess your always playing with fire when negotiating with the Mouse :p

San Diego con 2006
This was my first time at the con since 2001, when i was still in art school and spent most of the time in endless lines waiting to show my portfolio to anyone who would spare the time. By all accounts its grown bigger every year since; take the DC booth, multiply by about a thousand & that maybe was comic con 2006 :p

i always thought he looked a bit like ian mcculloch from the bunnymen; and for all the champions league trophies and millions of pounds there always a sense of underachivement; "the mystery of bad luck, the mystery of loss". something like that :p
